Key Function:

Responsible for maintaining the accreditation of quality system according to ISO / IEC 17021, 17065, and develop new certification schemes in collaboration with the laboratory manager.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Perform sampling & on-site testing when required
• Conduct audit for initial and surveillance audit in a professional manner to ISO 14001, ISO 9001 or ISO 18001
• Maintain accreditation of quality system according to ISO / IEC 17021, 17065, and develop new certification schemes
• Responsible for the operation of the department, plan and conduct marketing and promotional activities
• Provide market information to the management on new market trend and business opportunities
• Ensure timely completion of audits/surveillance and submission of audit reports.
• Develop and conduct related training courses
• Propose sales quotation for existing and prospective clients relating to certification schemes
• Occasional overseas travelling may be required
• Support technical enquiries from existing and prospective clients relating to ready mix concrete plants
• Assist with hazard identification and risk assessment exercises within their areas of responsibility.
• Monitor day-to-day health and safety in their section of responsibility and ensure all hazards, near misses and accidents are reported

Requirement:

• Experience in fire testing, product certification, and fire compliance of passive fire protection building products, fire doors, walls and partition systems and building materials and products
• Certified ISO 9001:2015 Auditor
• Ability to lead the operation of the department
• Detail-oriented with good analytical and communication skills
