Senior / Medical Laboratory Technologist!

Work Schedule:

5.5 days/week, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (staggered start times between 7:00 AM - 9:00 AM)

Supporting patient care through accurate lab testing and diagnostics at our Western region polyclinics. You'll handle specimen processing, conduct lab analyses, and perform point-of-care tests while ensuring safety, accuracy, and excellent patient service in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities :

• Perform laboratory analyses (e.g. urine microscopy, FBC, HbA1c) and operate/maintain instruments.
• Conduct point-of-care testing, phlebotomy, ECG, and spirometry procedures.
• Verify, report, and investigate lab results promptly.
• Perform daily quality checks and troubleshoot equipment.
• Handle patient registration and queries professionally.

Requirements :

• Degree in Medical Laboratory / Biomedical Science or related fields.
• Experience in a clinical laboratory (public or private healthcare) preferred - training provided.
• Skilled in phlebotomy/heel prick collection (advantageous but not essential).
• Effective communicator with good interpersonal skills.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment with strong problem-solving abilities.
• Proficient in MS Office.
