We are seeking a proactive and technically skilled Technical Support Engineer to join our team. The role involves providing hands-on support for internal commercial teams, production, and R&D, while ensuring the highest quality standards in line with ISO 17025.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive technical support to the commercial team through technical data analysis, competitor grade comparison, and troubleshooting for both pre-sales and after-sales activities, while collaborating with global teams to standardize testing methods, conduct evaluations, and perform benchmarking tests as required. • Perform failure analysis, benchmark testing, and both destructive and non destructive testing to identify physical defects in materials or products.
• Support production and logistics teams in production-related tasks and incoming/in process quality operations.
• Assist R&D Team with benchmark testing and development of new analytical methods based on customer requirements.
• Execute standard laboratory procedures, maintain proper documentation, and ensure accurate recording of experimental data.
• Set up, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment, prepare standard operating procedures (SOPs), and coordinate with vendors for technical issues.
• Manage laboratory inventory, including consumables and spare parts.
• Participate as an ISO 17025 committee member to maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) and ensure tests are conducted according to ISO standards.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree and above in Polymer Science, Chemistry, or related field. Candidates with a Chemical background will also be considered.
• Minimum 2- 3 years' relevant working experience preferred.
• Fresh graduates are welcome (for Assistant Engineer's position)
• Strong knowledge of polymers and plastics.
• Familiarity with injection molding technology and analytical techniques.
• Hands-on experience with FT-IR, SEM, DSC, TGA, or other analytical instruments is highly desirable.
• Strong problem-solving skills for pre- and post-sales technical support
• Solid knowledge or experience in Quality Management Systems (QMS) such as ISO 14001, ISO 9001, ISO 50001 (ISO 14K, 9K, 50K) is an advantage.
• Knowledge of Python is an advantage.
• Proficient in MS, especially Excel and PowerPoint; ability to prepare technical charts, reports, and presentations will be an advantage.
