Job Requirements:

-Must be a qualified Civil/Structural Engineer with academic qualifications accredited by the Joint Accreditation Committee (JAC) of IES/ACES for Qualified Site Supervisor (QSS) registration.

-Must be accredited as a Resident Engineer (Tunnel) [RE(T)] under the IES/ACES Specialist Accreditation Programme.

-Must have a minimum of four (4) years of relevant experience in tunnel or underground-related works as a Civil Engineer, of which at least two (2) years shall be in the supervision of tunnelling works.

Job Responsibilities:

-Ensure that all works are carried out safely and to a high quality, in compliance with statutory and project requirements.

-Provide supervision for civil and structural works in accordance with project specifications, construction drawings, and the Building Control Act and Regulations.

-Assist the SRE in managing and supervising site staff or Resident Technical Officers (RTOs).

-Support the SRE in site administration, including staff discipline, punctuality, attendance records, and other administrative matters.

-Oversee all construction activities, maintain proper site records, and submit reports as required.

-Review and assess contractors' temporary works to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.

-Verify that contractors' work procedures follow approved method statements and safety standards; direct modifications where necessary.

-Supervise and monitor all tunnelling works.

-Perform any other ad-hoc duties assigned by management
