The Product You Will Work On (OXRED EV Platform)

Our hardware product, the ITUS EV IoT Device, interfaces with electric vehicle Battery Management Systems (BMS) via CAN bus to collect and process real-time operational data at 10-second intervals. The gateway's edge computing capabilities allow it to perform on-device analytics and data sanitization, transmitting secure, compressed data to our OXRED EV Platform over a post-quantum encrypted channel.

On the cloud, OXRED maintains a Virtual EV Digital Twin for every vehicle, performing Multiphysics simulations to benchmark Ideal Battery Performance Characteristics (IBPC). These are combined with real-world sensor, driving, and environmental data to produce actionable insights and predictive analytics for OEMs, fleet operators, and ecosystem partners.

Now, we are extending OXRED's capabilities with AI Orchestrators and Agentic Workflows, intelligent systems that interpret fleet-wide data, autonomously trigger actions, route insights, and nudge human teams.

You will work on the next generation of our predictive systems, combining Bayesian modeling, LSTM-based temporal learning, physics-informed AI, and vision models for vehicle damage assessment, pushing the frontier of EV health, warranty, and maintenance prediction.

Your Roles and Responsibilities

• Design and Build AI Workflows: Develop and enhance agentic AI workflows, capable of fetching data from OXRED, interpreting it in real-time, routing actions, and nudging users or teams intelligently.
• Develop Predictive & Hybrid Models: Create and refine models for predicting State of Health (SOH), fault risk, mileage, warranty claims, and maintenance forecasts, using Bayesian, LSTM, and physics-based hybrid methods.
• Vehicle Image Processing & Damage Assessment: Build or integrate computer vision pipelines for detecting and classifying vehicle damage, aiding in maintenance automation, insurance intelligence, and predictive diagnostics.
• Edge & Cloud ML Integration: Implement efficient edge analytics and preprocessing routines on the ITUS EV Gateway to ensure high-quality, bandwidth-optimized data transfer to the cloud.
• Collaborate on Multiphysics Simulation Models: Work with simulation engineers to improve IBPC models and ensure seamless feedback loops between simulation, real data, and ML insights.
• Cross-Learning via Transfer AI: Use transfer and federated learning across vehicle types and geographies to enhance prediction accuracy while preserving privacy.
• Integrate and Deploy Models in Production: Work closely with the DevOps and C# application teams to integrate your ML models into production pipelines and vehicle dashboards.
• Analytics, Reporting & Business Insights: Quantify outcomes from AI models to generate business-case intelligence for predictive maintenance, downtime forecasts, automated Kanban updates, and warranty optimization.

Required Experience with Machine Learning and Software Engineering

• Proven experience in machine learning model design and deployment, ideally with IoT or real-time data.
• Expertise in Bayesian inference, LSTM/RNN architectures, and hybrid physics-ML models.
• Strong hands-on skills in Python and experience with libraries like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Keras.
• Exposure to C# for integration and cross-platform ML deployment is highly valued.
• Experience with image processing or computer vision (e.g., OpenCV, YOLO, or segmentation models).
• Strong understanding of edge computing, data streaming, and IoT pipelines.
• Familiarity with AWS, Azure, CrateDB, API design, and DevOps pipelines for ML deployment.
• Knowledge of agentic architectures, retrieval-augmented workflows, or AI orchestration systems is a plus.

Required Generic Software Aptitude and Qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
• Mandatory specialization in Machine Learning or Applied AI.
• Strong software engineering fundamentals and version control discipline (Git).
• Excellent communication and analytical reasoning skills.
• Demonstrated ability to take ownership and deliver end-to-end solutions in dynamic, cross-functional environments.
• Leadership potential and a collaborative, hands-on mindset.
