Our client is in construction industry (Grade A1 Contractor/ Class 1 General Builder) and they provide full suite of integrated construction services and solutions in both the public and private sectors.

JOB DIMENSION (SCOPE)

• Assist in developing, implementing, and monitoring EHS policies, procedures, and site-specific safety plans in accordance with local regulations and company standards.
• Work closely with project teams, site personnel, subcontractors, and authorities to ensure adherence to safety protocols.
• Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and risk assessments; follow up on corrective and preventive actions.
• Participate in incident/accident investigations, root cause analysis, and preparation of reports with recommended actions.
• Facilitate toolbox meetings, safety briefings, and EHS training programs to raise awareness and promote safety culture.
• Ensure proper documentation and maintenance of all EHS records, permits, licenses, and certifications.
• Monitor environmental aspects and ensure compliance with waste management, pollution control, and sustainability practices.
• Support the Senior EHS Manager in preparing monthly safety reports, KPI updates, and management review materials.
• Stay updated on relevant EHS legislation, industry best practices, and regulatory changes.
• Foster a proactive safety mindset and drive continuous improvement initiatives on site.

REQUIREMENT

• Degree in Environmental, Health & Safety, Engineering, or related discipline.
• Registered WSHO and ECO with at least 5 years of EHS experience at managerial level with a main construction firm preferred.
• Familiar with local EHS regulations, construction safety codes, and audit requirements.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills to engage with various stakeholders, project team and etc.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and EHS reporting tools
• Ability to multitask under pressure and respond effectively during site emergencies.
