EngineeringJob Responsibilities:
• Prepare welded mesh shop drawings using AutoCAD for customer submissions and production use.
• Liaise with customers to resolve drawing discrepancies and ensure accuracy.
• Maintain and update all revisions of project drawings.
• Provide timely responses to order enquiries and act as the point of escalation when required.
• Assist in managing day-to-day production operations, including inventory control, safety, quality, and deliveries.
• Actively participate in safety initiatives, production planning, manpower allocation, and daily management activities.
• Conduct risk assessments to identify hazards and implement effective risk control measures.
• Perform ERP functions related to production and inventory modules.
• Prepare weekly production reports and monthly closing reports.
• Undertake other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the superior.
Competency Requirements:
• Diploma in Mechanical, Civil Engineering, or a related field, OR Higher Nitec in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or Civil Engineering.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD with working knowledge of ERP systems and MS Office applications.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
• Good organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
