Job Responsibilities: (PLC/Software)

• Design and develop control/UI software for automated semiconductor equipment.

• Support fieldwork to upgrade and resolve customer issues.

• Define and execute validation (including acceptance, integration, installation and system testing) according to defined procedures.

• Research new automation technologies and continuous improvement for performance and system optimization.

• Generate technical documents, such as proposals, reports, validation plan, cost estimates etc.

• Other duties/activities as assigned by management.

Job Requirement (PLC/Software)

• BS/MS Degree in Engineering or a related discipline and/or have demonstrated increasing levels of technical management responsibilities.

• Understanding of electrical interconnect/interfaces and standard communication protocols.

• Significant experience in developing software for automation equipment and performance improvement is required.

• Hardware experience in using servo, stepper motion controller, analog device and high speed I/O. Experience in Machine Vision or Image Processing is an added advantage.

• Working experience with R&D and High Volume Manufacturing (HVM), and knowledge of project/program management/integration skill, systems and tools is preferred.

• Candidates need to have demonstrated the ability to lead technical taskforces and resolve complex technical issues.

• Experience with test-semiconductors beneficial for role.
