Principal Engineer - Automation & Electrical Systems Design (Marine)

Our client is a maritime service provider. They are currently looking for a Principal Engineer - Automation & Electrical Systems Design (Marine) to design, development, commissioning and maintenance of Ship Management System (SMS).

Responsibilities:

- Perform system and architecture design of Ship Management System (SMS).

- Perform system integration for SMS with third party systems.

- Perform, coordinate, manage and support Factory Acceptance Test (FAT), Set to work (STW) and Harbour Acceptance Test (HAT).

- Perform software configuration management and technical documentation.

- Liaise with customers, project managers and other engineering trades.

Requirements:

- At least 5 years experiences with system architecture design, system maintenance, and/or networking

- Experience in Site Testing and commissioning

- Knowledge in PLC programming and SCADA software.

- Knowledge in Python, JSON, Restful, Machine Learning and Data Analytics experience will be an advantage.

Additional Information:

- Location: Benoi Road (Island-wide transport provided)

- Working hours: Working Hours: 7:25 am to 5 pm (5-day work week)
