Job Description

• Provide technical support and act as an escalation point for the company's global IT infrastructure, collaborating closely with partners and vendors.
• Contribute to key projects, including network upgrades and cloud migration initiatives.
• Monitor system performance to ensure optimal operation, coordinating with external service providers as needed.
• Oversee the security, integrity, and reliability of core systems and backup solutions.
• Support compliance activities, including reporting and issue resolution.
• Collaborate with architecture and security teams by providing input on solution design when appropriate.
• Assist in planning and implementing infrastructure improvements as part of a team.
• Work alongside vendors and outsourcing partners to help enhance service quality and efficiency.

The Successful Applicant

• Extensive experience with Microsoft Azure cloud platforms, including IaaS, SaaS, and PaaS.
• Strong expertise in Microsoft technologies such as Windows OS, hybrid Active Directory, Exchange, Office, scripting, Intune, and SCCM.
• Demonstrated ability to design and deploy scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure.
• Proficient in troubleshooting issues within Azure environments as well as hardware, software, network, and systems.
• Hands-on experience supporting IT projects including system upgrades, migrations, and data backups.
• ITIL certification or equivalent practical experience preferred.
• Knowledge of key infrastructure management practices like capacity planning, patch management, change control, and performance tracking.
• Experience with network administration (LAN and WAN) and managing external vendors or suppliers.
• Familiarity with IT service management platforms (such as ServiceNOW or SysAID) and understanding of security standards like ISO27001, CE+, and PCI-DSS is advantageous.
