Key Responsibilities

• Partner with Architects/Principals to build UI front end solutions aligned with IT strategy.
• Mentor and support team members.
• Collaborate with QA to ensure quality delivery through testing, reviews, and best practices.
• Experiment with technologies and methodologies to identify optimal solutions.
• Deliver against functional and non-functional requirements.
• Take ownership of key features, driving them to completion.
• Communicate progress effectively, raising blockers early to minimize delays.

Skills & Experience Ideally needed:

• UI Engineering expertise: React (16-19+), Typescript (4/5+), JavaScript (ES6+), GraphQL Apollo 3.8+, HTML5, CSS, OOP design principles.
• Strong experience with UI libraries (Material UI, Ant Design).
• Test automation (Selenium, Cypress, or similar); integration and regression testing.
• Performance optimization and web security best practices.
• Build tools: Webpack, Vite; CI/CD pipelines; GitHub/GitLab.
• Code quality tools (SonarQube) and issue tracking (Jira).
• UX/UI design with cross-browser compatibility.
• Agile delivery experience, excellent communication, and collaboration with remote teams.
• Full SDLC involvement from design to post-release support.
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Design collaboration tools (Figma).
• Knowledge of financial/trading platforms.
• .NET Framework and relational database experience.
• API development, AWS services, serverless, microservices.
• TDD/BDD methodologies.
• Storybook for UI component design.
