Your role:

We're looking for frontend software engineers to:
• provide technology solutions that will solve business problems and strengthen our position as digital leaders in financial services
• design, plan and deliver sustainable solutions using modern frontend programming languages and tooling
• provide technical expertise and recommendations in assessing new software projects and initiatives to support and enhance our existing applications
• conduct code reviews and test software as needed, along with participating in application architecture and design and other phases of SDLC
• maintain and improve automated test suites and deployment pipelines

Your team:

You'll be working in the APAC Trade and Transfer Assets stream, as part of the Technology division in Hong Kong or Singapore. You will be joining a team that prides itself on care for its users and their experience, providing next generation trading tools covering multiple asset classes across international locations.
This is a senior engineering appointment, and as such you'll play an important role in improving the architecture of our applications, development of tooling, pipelines and development workflow, and reinforcement of coding quality.

Your expertise:

• senior frontend engineer with extensive experience focused on building and testing complex frontend applications
• experience leading and mentoring other senior engineers, defining software architecture, and supporting teams to execute complex goals with exceptional quality and agility
• comfortable communicating with and influencing senior stakeholders both within technology and the business on critical technology decisions
• expert level knowledge in frontend technologies (we currently use React, Redux, Typescript)
• expertise in frontend tooling and deployment (we develop our applications and deploy from a monorepo using turborepo, lerna, vite and gitlab)
• ability to design, plan and deliver solutions in a large scale enterprise environment that adhere to security, compliance, reliability and operational standards
• ability to line manage other engineers, develop their skills and nurture their careers, growing the next generation of software engineers for the bank
