About the Role
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Project Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing engineering projects from planning to execution, ensuring quality delivery, stakeholder satisfaction, and compliance with technical standards.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with end users, consultants, and stakeholders to ensure project requirements are clearly defined and met.
- Coordinate with contractors to manage manpower, materials, and equipment efficiently within budget constraints.
- Assist in preparing tender specifications (RFQ), project schedules, and evaluating submissions.
- Attend project meetings, resolve technical and operational issues, and propose effective solutions.
- Oversee testing and commissioning (T&C) of equipment and ensure smooth handover to end users.
- Conduct detailed T&C of facilities and systems upon project completion.
- Work closely with engineering and technical teams to develop and review specifications for existing facility systems.
- Monitor project progress to ensure timely and quality completion.
- Verify and ensure proper submission of handover documentation, including as-built drawings and OMM manuals.
- Maintain accurate and timely project progress reports for internal and client updates.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support project success.
Requirements
- Degree in Engineering with minimum 5 years of relevant experience, or Diploma in Engineering with minimum 8 years of experience.
- Proven track record in project management and technical coordination.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive mindset.
- Excellent communication skills in both written and spoken English.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
