In this role, you will be responsible for managing technology incidents that impact business operations. You will take full ownership of major incidents from recognition through resolution, ensuring timely recovery while maintaining service quality. The role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams to drive incident and problem management processes, support root cause analysis, ensure accurate incident reporting, and contribute to continual improvement.

skills and experience required

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 5-10 years of experience in managing complex IT incidents or working as an operations line manager in a matrixed environment
• Solid understanding of application support, EOD batch processing, and infrastructure domains (e.g., storage, network, Unix/Linux)
• Familiarity with middleware, web/application services, and payment systems is an advantage
• Proficient in monitoring tools like Splunk, AppDynamics, or Dynatrace
• Skilled with ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Remedy) and ticket lifecycle automation
• Hands-on with RCA techniques (5 Whys, Fishbone) and post-mortem processes
• Experience in KPI tracking (MTTR, SLA), audit readiness, and regulatory reporting
