Qualifications:
- Conceptualize, design, and develop mechanical components and systems for Maxiton's refuse compactors and related equipment.
- Conduct structural and functional analysis to ensure designs meet performance, safety, and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (electrical, software, and manufacturing) to integrate smart technologies into mechanical systems.
2. Prototyping and Testing:
- Create and refine prototypes, ensuring alignment with technical specifications.
- Plan and execute testing protocols for durability, efficiency, and safety of mechanical systems.
- Analyze test data and implement design improvements to optimize product performance.
3. Manufacturing Support:
- Provide technical expertise to production teams to ensure seamless manufacturing processes.
- Develop and maintain detailed engineering documentation, including CAD models, drawings, and BOMs.
- Identify and resolve design-related manufacturing issues promptly.
4. Maintenance and Troubleshooting:
- Assist after-sales and customer service teams in diagnosing and resolving mechanical issues in the field.
- Recommend and implement design updates to improve reliability and reduce maintenance requirements.
5. Innovation and Research:
- Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and technologies to enhance product offerings.
- Contribute to the development of next-generation solutions, such as energy-efficient systems and IoT-enabled equipment.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Experience: 2+ years in mechanical design, preferably in waste management, heavy equipment, or hydraulics.
- Technical Skills:Proficient in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD).
Strong understanding of hydraulics, structural mechanics, and material properties.
Familiarity with IoT or sensor integration is an advantage. - Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving, communication, and project management skills.
