Job Summary
The System Engineer / IT Technician will support Linux systems, onsite AI hardware, and basic MySQL operations. This role involves hands-on troubleshooting, system monitoring, and collaboration with internal teams to ensure reliable IT and AI infrastructure performance. The position requires night shift work and offers exposure to enterprise-scale systems, making it suitable for fresh graduates or early-career professionals.

Responsibilities

System and Hardware Support:
• Provide day-to-day Linux system support, including configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
• Perform onsite support for AI hardware, ensuring proper setup, maintenance, and issue resolution.
• Assist in system monitoring, incident handling, and escalation when required.

Database Support:
• Handle basic MySQL operations such as queries, updates, and troubleshooting.

• Support database performance checks and backup processes.

General Duties:
• Maintain documentation of system configurations, procedures, and incidents.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors for issue resolution.

Requirements

• Singapore Citizens or Permanent Residents only

• Polytechnic Diploma in Computer Science, IT, or related field (for System Engineer role)

• ITE Certificate in Computer Science, IT, or related field (for IT Technician role)

• Fresh graduates or candidates with 1-2 years of IT experience welcome

• Knowledge or hands-on experience with Linux systems.

• Familiarity with MySQL and database fundamentals.

• Interest or exposure to AI hardware support preferred.

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

• Good communication skills and team-oriented mindset.

• Willingness to commit to rotating night shift work.
