Key Responsibilities

• Installation and Assembly:Install and connect wiring, circuits, outlets, switches, and other electrical devices. Assemble electrical and electronic systems and prototypes.
• Maintenance and Repair:Perform preventive maintenance, inspect electrical systems, and troubleshoot and repair malfunctions in equipment and appliances.
• Troubleshooting and Diagnostics:Identify the root cause of electrical problems and analyze them to propose safe and efficient solutions.
• Testing and Calibration:Test electrical circuits and components to ensure proper functioning and calibrate instruments as needed.
• Reading and Interpretation:Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, technical diagrams, and wiring instructions.
• Safety and Compliance:Adhere to safety regulations and electrical codes while working with electrical systems.
• Collaboration and Documentation:Work with electrical engineers, other technicians, and facility managers, and maintain accurate records of performed maintenance and repair work.
• Component Fabrication:Construct and fabricate electrical parts using hand tools and specifications.

• Variety of Locations:Technicians can work in various environments, including homes, commercial buildings, industrial plants, factories, and outdoor job sites.
• Physical Demands:Tasks may require working in dark, confined spaces, under ladders, or in various weather conditions.
