About the Role
We are looking for a highly skilled Principal Engineer (Mechanical & Electrical) to join the Infrastructure Development team and support the redevelopment of a major healthcare facility. This role involves evaluating consultants' M&E system designs, ensuring alignment with operational requirements, and engaging multiple stakeholders to deliver effective hospital development projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead M&E engagements with consultants and stakeholders, ensuring productive sessions and well-documented outcomes.
• Collaborate with consultants to capture and incorporate all stakeholder requirements into project design.
• Monitor design and construction timelines to ensure project milestones are achieved.
• Present M&E design proposals for management review and approval.
• Review contract specifications, including testing & commissioning (T&C), maintenance, and defect liability clauses.
• Coordinate site activities, including technical coordination for user requests, mock-up reviews, and T&C processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• At least 8 years of relevant work experience, with project management exposure preferred.
• Prior experience in healthcare infrastructure projects is highly advantageous.
• Knowledge of IT systems, integrations, and smart technologies will be an added advantage.
• Strong background in planning, developing, and managing infrastructure projects.
• Skilled in conducting effective stakeholder engagement sessions.
• Strong documentation, verbal, and written communication skills, including presentation abilities.
• Passionate about healthcare planning and able to guide hospital development effectively.
