Plant Engineer / Senior Plant Engineer

Location: East (Changi)

Working Schedule : Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5.30pm, Saturday 8.30am to 12.30pm(Alternate Saturday)

Working Hours: 8.30 am - 5.30 pm (Mon-Fri), 8.30 am - 12.30 pm (Sat)

Key Responsibilities:

\t• Ensure compliance with local regulations and design plant maintenance programs to reduce downtime.

\t• Evaluate production activities and prepare reports on plant machines and equipment.

\t• Collaborate with other departments to maintain mechanical integrity.

\t• Perform regular audits and inspections on maintenance programs.

\t• Design and implement preventive maintenance programs in coordination with the yard manager.

\t• Monitor plant operations and assist in scheduling maintenance plans for machines and tools.

\t• Recommend and implement improvements to products, work sequences, or processes.

\t• Manage plant equipment inventories and ensure effective operations.

\t• Inspect new machines for specification compliance and oversee quality of repairs.

\t• Assist in administration tasks related to workshop operations and documentation.

Qualifications and Experience:

\t• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.

\t• 2-5 years of relevant experience (senior role available for candidates with more experience).

\t• Experience with heavy machinery maintenance and multi-product environments is preferred.

\t• Knowledge of mechanical and hydraulic systems, and diagnostics.

\t• Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills.

\t• Proactive, resourceful, and cost-conscious with a drive for results.
