JOB DESCIPTION

• \tSupport procurement by providing technical inputs to ensure materials and services meet operational requirements.

• \tIdentify and implement improvements in instrumentation systems to enhance reliability and efficiency.

• \tSupervise contractors and vendors, reviewing work procedures to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.

• \tParticipate in relevant meetings and initiatives, contributing to business and operational decisions.

REQUIREMENTS

• NOTE: The work location is on Jurong Island

• \tBasic understanding of DCS system, with the ability to navigate and view DCS systems and interfaces.

• \tFamiliarity with local technical standards and regulations in Singapore is a must

• \tAbility to easily interpret P&ID diagrams and related instrument installation drawings.

• \tProficient in using CAD for drafting and office software for documentation, capable of modifying or redesigning field drawings as needed.

• \tFluent in more than 2 language is preferred, with strong skills in drafting formal letters and documents in English.

• \tPossess a degree in Instrumentation and Control Engineering or Electronics and Electrical Engineering with at least three (3) years of working experience in the instrumentation field, or a diploma in the same fields with at least seven (7) years of working experience in instrumentation field

• \tProficient in the codes and standards in the power plant industry i.e. BSI, ISO27001, ANSI, IEC, IEEE, etc.

• \tStrong interpersonal skills, a team player and able to work with all levels of management and multinational staff

• \tHands-on experience in field instrumentation and sensors of different makes
