Responsibilities

• Materials Testing:
  Conduct mechanical, physical, and durability tests on materials and products in accordance with international standards.
• Documentation and Quality Assurance:
  Accurately document test results, observations, and deviations in a structured manner.
  Assist in generating comprehensive test reports that comply with our laboratory's quality management systems.
  Maintain proper traceability and documentation of all test data for internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with ISO 17025 and other relevant accreditation requirements.
• Equipment Maintenance and Calibration:
  Perform daily maintenance checks on laboratory equipment and report any malfunctions.
  Assist in the calibration and verification of testing machines to ensure accuracy.
• Safety and Lab Operations:
  Adhere to all safety guidelines and risk assessments when handling testing machines and specimens.
  Ensure proper handling of hazardous materials and waste disposal in compliance with safety regulations.
• Continuous Improvement:
  Assist in research and development (R&D) projects for new test methods or equipment upgrades.
  Participate in inter-laboratory proficiency testing and validation studies to ensure accuracy.
  Stay updated on new testing standards and industry best practices to enhance technical knowledge and contribute to process improvements.

Qualifications & Experience

• Education: Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
• Significant field experience that demonstrates comparable engineering knowledge and skills may also be considered.
