Preferred Skills:
- Design and develop automation scripts and frameworks for testing, infrastructure, or manufacturing processes.
- Work closely with development, QA, and DevOps teams to automate repetitive tasks and enhance system reliability.
- Identify process bottlenecks and propose automation solutions to improve productivity and accuracy.
- Maintain, update, and troubleshoot automation systems or test frameworks.
- Collaborate on CI/CD pipeline enhancements and integration of automated workflows.
- Document technical procedures, test cases, and results for future reference.
- Monitor automation systems for performance, errors, and security compliance.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Mechatronics, or related field.
- 3-8 years of relevant experience in automation engineering.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Shell, Bash, JavaScript, or PowerShell.
- Hands-on experience with automation tools like Selenium, Appium, Jenkins, Ansible, Puppet, Chef, or similar.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git), and agile methodologies.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in robotic process automation (RPA) tools like UiPath or Automation Anywhere.
- Exposure to testing tools like TestNG, JUnit, or Cucumber.
- Familiarity with PLC systems or SCADA (for industrial automation roles).
- ISTQB or equivalent QA/testing certification (if testing focused).
