Key Responsibilities / Duties

• Undertake feasibility and conceptual studies, FEED designs for hydrocarbon and high-pressured Gas
• Transmission and Distribution Pipeline projects
• Undertake Process Safety related studies, analysis, calculations relating to Gas Transmission and Distribution Pipelines
• Experience in the preparation of Process datasheets for various safety items like PSV, PVRV, etc.
• Ability to provide risk assessment through the use of risk analysis techniques and tools.
• Review and provide inputs to HAZID, HAZOP's, SIL and QRA, etc.
• Undertake Process Safety design work as required which may include a combination of engineering, research and consultancy work.
• Provide Process engineering design supports to Engineering Managers and Project Managers/Directors in project deliverables.
• Responsible for the preparation, review and approval of Process deliverables and calculations i.e.
• Process Flow Diagrams, Equipment specifications, Process Descriptions, P&IDs, Process simulations, hydraulic calculations, Process Safety related calculations, etc.
• Assist responsible for further updates to the current in-house Process related engineering design standards, technical specifications, process data sheets, calculations and design check lists.
• Ensure a high standard of safety is achieved and Environmental and Quality Assurance procedures are followed
• Participate in technical meetings and discussions with clients and contractors

Requirements

• More than 5 years of experience in Process Safety Design in the Oil and Gas industry and High-pressured Gas Transmission and Distribution pipelines, with a Process / Chemical Engineering Degree (Hons).
• Technical know-how in process safety engineering, QRA, or PHA is essential.
• Experience in Singapore Power Gas projects will be an added advantage.
• Experience in gas dispersion study will be an added advantage.
• Experience in risk contour, consequence modelling, QRA will be an added advantage.
• Preferably associated with a registered engineering institution.
• Conversant with relevant international and local codes and standards.
• Proficiency in MS Suites and software skills in process simulation software
• Able to lead, and work both independently and in a team.
• Team player and ability to work with and manage clients and contractors.

• Strong analytical skills and ability to be an independent problem solver
