Responsibilities

  • Provide after-sales support for core products such as ABB inverters, motors, and air conditioners, ensuring optimal performance.
  • Perform troubleshooting, diagnosis, and rectification of electrical and mechanical issues, resolving problems immediately to minimize downtime.
  • Respond promptly to end-users, recognizing the critical nature of crane downtime in port operations.
  • Provide technical advice, and draft comprehensive technical reports for end-users.
  • Conduct system inspections and preventive maintenance to enhance equipment reliability and lifespan.
  • Perform electrical circuit analysis, load testing, and fault diagnostics to ensure system integrity and compliance.
  • Perform the installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical and control systems in port terminals.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to develop solutions for system enhancements and process improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and best practices in all technical operations.

Requirements

  • Background is required, preferably with experience in motors.
  • Must be willing to travel to customer ports to repair faulty products, including overseas travel (e.g., Middle East) if local technicians are unable to resolve the issue.
  • Must have a valid Class 3 driving license.
