Responsibilities:
- Supervise the contractors’ works to ensure that work is carried in compliance with the design intent, specifications and quality of works required under the terms of contract.
- Maintain a Site Diary of events and daily surveillance.
- Attend site progress meetings/technical meetings/consultants’ meetings.
- Keep a close check of the contractors’ installation details of items which require specific compliance to CP/manufacturers’ installation instructions.
- Ensure timely submissions, review and approval of shop drawings, technical submittals, and samples by contractors.
- Prepare and update list of outstanding/non-compliance works and submit to the PM for discussion at site/progress meetings.
- Monitor and report of progress of works against schedule and prepare monthly updates of site progress.
- Resolve site coordination issues with contractors, consultants, and internal stakeholders.
- Plan, coordinate and conduct site inspections and T&C schedules with stakeholders.
- Compile and track Defects Lists with the consultants and/or contractors.
- Lead and attend inspection and testing & commission requested by FM and other stake holders.
- Lead and execute Special Projects or tasks as directed by Reporting Officer.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Architectural / Architectural Technology, Engineering, or other relevant qualifications with at least 5 years of relevant site experience in healthcare infrastructure or construction supervision/design consultancy in the built environment sector.
- Familiar with inspection process in a healthcare environment or in any relevant built environment sector.
- Experience in supervision of Additions and Alterations works in a healthcare environment or in any relevant built environment sector.
- An independent team player who is proactive, adaptable and works well under pressure.
- Proficient in AutoCAD drafting. Knowledge in 3D Sketchup software is advantageous.
- Able to prepare and plan project schedules using project management tools or Excel programme.
