This is a full-time, onsite, ICT Trainer Role in MOE Primary School. If you are selected,
You will work closely with the HOD / ICT and ICT Manager in MOE School, AM, SPL (nearest MRT-Punggol ) in the day-to-day activities. Company provides endless opportunities for career progression and better work - life balance.
Responsibilities:
• conduct computer training for students on multimedia applications;
• work with the HOD ICT to develop new and review existing training resources/programme to ensure ICT implementation and integration are aligned to school's needs and interests so that students attain proficiency in school-identified digital competencies and technological skills;
• develop training resources that are required for training sessions of the students and staff;
• train students (Pri 1-6) on digital literacy skills and safe use of online tools;
• assist in ICT-related training for staff, InfoComm Club as well as ICT Student Leaders;
• assist in handling of inventory of various AV/IT equipment in various school locations (classrooms, hall, parade square, special rooms etc.) to support various school events/needs;
• provide support for school functions, such as set up and manage Public Address (PA) equipment for National Day, Awards Day etc; and Microsoft Teams/Zoom meetings/ webinars;
• support school events in terms of photography & videography, including photo and video editing;
• archive, manage and organise the school's media collection (photos, videos and
documents etc);
• support school website design & maintenance;
• provide technical support in Computer Labs, and/or small-group teaching that meets students' learning needs; and
• assist in providing assessment of students, monitor the effectiveness of ICT related teaching programmes provided and work together with the HOD/SH ICT to recommend refinements to the programme to enhance students' learning.
Job Requirements:
• 2 years of experience in teaching the use of computers and its relevant applications in a school environment.
• Preferably with experience teaching primary school students.
• Good command of English (written and oral).
• Polytechnic Diploma holder or its equivalent in a related field.
• Proficient in MS Office i.e. Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Proficient in use of Google Apps i.e. Google Drive, Docs, Slides, Sheets and Google Sites.
• Preferably with experience in use of iOS devices (e.g. iPad, iMac, MacBook) and iOS apps i.e. Keynote, Pages and Numbers.
• Has knowledge on multimedia applications like Adobe Premiere, Photoshop, Illustrator and SWIIT webpage builder and ability to conduct computer training for students and staff.
• Intermediate level of knowledge in STEM or coding e.g. Python, C-programming language, Arduino, Micro:bit, Apple SWIFT playground, etc.
• Preferable to have experience in animation, developing mobile learning, basic
programming, photography, video filming and editing.
• Candidates should be highly motivated and able to perform good project management.
• Candidate should also be a good team-player with good interpersonal and communication skills.
Summary:
Contract Period: From 14 July 2025 to 31 December 2026.
Working Hours:
• Mondays to Thursdays: 8am to 5:30pm, inclusive of 1hr lunch break
• Fridays: 8 am to 5pm, inclusive of 1hr lunch break
( School events: May be deployed at 7.15 am to support school events such as Awards Day, Lunar New Year and school anniversary celebrations. If so, working hours will be adjusted accordingly.)
• Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted public holidays.
