Position: Early Intervention Educator (Early Childhood Education)
Location: Singapore
Salary: SGD 3,000 - 4,000
Experience Required: Open to all graduates and those with up to 2 years of experience
Qualifications: Minimum Diploma or Degree in Early Childhood Care & Education, Special Education, Psychology, Social Work, or equivalent

Job Responsibilities:
- Maintain Service Standards: Uphold the standards of service delivery within the Early Intervention Centre (EIC).
- Attendance and Reporting: Regularly report to the EIC and attend classes, meetings, trainings, and events punctually.
- Lesson Planning: Develop lesson plans using developmentally appropriate materials and methods, embedding children’s functional goals in daily activities.
- Engagement Strategies: Co-create stimulating learning environments that promote children's interest and engagement through innovative teaching approaches.
- Classroom Management: Collaborate to implement effective classroom management strategies for diverse learners, both individually and in groups.
- Intervention Coordination: Coordinate center-based and home-based interventions with transdisciplinary team members and work closely with families to enhance outcomes.
- Goal Development: Develop and implement functional learning goals for each child in collaboration with the transdisciplinary team and family members.
- Progress Monitoring: Regularly monitor and review children’s progress, functional goals, and family priorities in coordination with team members.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of daily attendance, assessments, intervention records, and developmental progress for each child.
- IEP Preparation: Prepare Individualized Education Plans (IEP) and progress summaries, discussing these with parents during Parent-Team Conferences (PTC).
- Safety and Administration: Ensure the administration, intervention, caregiving, and safety of children are managed effectively.
- Communication with Families: Maintain regular communication with parents/guardians through various channels to foster collaboration and support.
- Evidence-Based Practices: Utilize evidence-based approaches, including transdisciplinary and family-centered practices, to enhance early intervention.
- Health and Safety Standards: Uphold health, safety, and hygiene standards, creating a safe learning environment for children.
- Resource Management: Maintain all equipment and resources in EIC classrooms and common areas.
- Professional Development: Attend meetings, trainings, workshops, and events for ongoing professional development.
- Confidentiality: Maintain confidentiality regarding all matters related to children, families, and staff.
- Support Center Initiatives: Assist in implementing center initiatives and identify areas for improvement in family and community programs.
Other Responsibilities:
- Assist in ad-hoc projects or committees as required by the Lead Educator, Operations Manager, or Programme Lead.
- Perform any additional duties as directed by the EIC Director.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Minimum Diploma or Degree in Early Childhood Care & Education, Special Education, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- A genuine love for working with preschoolers.
- Highly organized and meticulous in your work.
