Job Responsibilities:
 
  • Maintain good personal hygiene practices to ensure food safety practice
  • Perform R&D, develop recipes and breakdown task for the preparation of bakery items while maintaining costs and ensuring quality of products
  • Maintain equipment to ensure the safety of the food and trainees
  • Purchase ingredients only from approved vendors to assure the safety of food and halal certified
  • Record and update information needed to document daily production using the HACCP/ AVA procedures
  • Ensure compliance to food safety and hygiene regulations at all times Job Requirements
  • Record performing assessments of trainees. (Standards of Work Performance reports, Progress reports & WSP)
  • Train and guide trainees with special needs on baking process and procedure
  • Supervise, train and develop trainees with special needs
  • Ensure that the trainees delivers consistency in work performance
  • Work on trainees' management, intervention plan and develop assessment tool
  • Take ownership of work area and maintain focus on job requirement
  • Provide consistent, timely, high quality work and completes all assigned tasks on time with minimal supervision
  • Take ownership to deliver bakery products according to Company's quality and cost requirements
  • Assist on late/ weekend events & stay back during festive orders if required
 
Job Requirements:
 
  • Higher NITEC/ Diploma/ Degree in Food & Beverage Management and equivalent
  • Possess 2 to 3 years of work related experience in bakery or pastry
  • Possess good communication skills
  • Able to interact well with people with special needs and their caregivers
