Responsibilities:
  • To identify the learning needs (functional capabilities) of the Yard and operations division
  • Design, develop and deliver training programs
  • To manage training facilities and equipment (of the person's specialized trade)
  • To manage training systems and records and prepare for internal and external audits
  • Conduct learning needs analysis survey to gather feedback from relevant stakeholders
  • Identify the program learning outcomes according to the learning needs of the yard and operational departments
  • Design and develop the training program based on recommended training strategies and methodologies
  • Assist designer and developer in design and develop the training program based on recommended training strategies and methodologies
  • Review and update training programs to improve effectiveness and relevance
  • Prepare and Facilitate training programs
  • Transfer skills and knowledge according to program learning outcomes and objectives
  • Assess the competency of the learners / candidates
  • Certify that the learner / candidate is competent in the relevant skills and knowledge
  • Compile results and provide feedback to department heads and managers on the outcome of the assessment
  • Plan, schedule and organize training programs
  • Monitor and track training numbers and progress
  • Prepare for Internal and external audits
  • Provide feedback to management on training and program development matters

Requirements:
  • Diploma or Degree in an Engineering field (Mechanical, Electrical, Marine)
  • Possess full ACTA / ACLP Certification is a must
  • Possess DACE / DDDLP certification is a must
  • Experienced in Curriculum Development
  • Possess learner centric attitude and focus (concerned with the learners learning)
  • Familiar with WSQ framework
  • Must be able to conduct Stand Up Training in Classroom or on site environments
  • Able to handle multiple projects and tasks

Other Information:
  • Location: Benoi Road (Island-wide transport provided)
  • 5 days work week
  • Working Hours: 7.25am-5pm
