Temporary Assistant Head of Examinations (Senior School) (6 months - February 2024 to July 2024)

The successful applicant will manage and support the administration of examinations across the whole school, communicate with all stakeholders in respect of examination enquiries, payments, dates of testing and other requirements by the schools and testing boards. Under the guidance of the Head of Examinations, to effectively carry out examination logistics and manage all aspects of administration relating to external examination and IB DP students.

The role reports to Head of Examinations Centre.

Requirements:

  • Diploma holder/degree holder or professional qualification
  • Minimum 3 – 4 years of relevant working experience
  • Experience with school context in relations to curriculum and mock/internal exams
  • Certain degree of familiarity with external exams
  • Good command of written and spoken English
  • Proficient in Microsoft 365 and Office Applications (MS Excel and Word), School’s application – ISAMS , Google Workspace
  • Pleasant disposition with excellent interpersonal, administration, organizational and communication skills
  • Meticulous, strong attention to detail, self-motivated and highly committed with the ability to work independently as well as a good team player
  • Able to use a range of strategies to support students and teacher, and adapt to different students with a range of ages and academic abilities
  • Able to anticipate issues and to show good initiative in pre-empting and solving problems
  • Ability to work flexibly as the role may require working over the weekend (especially Saturdays) or after school hours
