Requirement
- Registered with MOE
- A diploma and above in a relevant field such as Information Technology, Computer Science, and/or training in education.
- Basic IT troubleshooting skills
- Familiar with audio recording software and video editing software;
- Good knowledge and application of Scratch, Microsoft Office and various digital art software;
- Good knowledge of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and programming;
- Good Knowledge of Computational Thinking (CT) and able to infuse problem solving using CT in the lessons;
- Proficient in Flipped Classroom approach where students are introduced to new materials via online learning and classroom time will be used to deepen the understanding of these materials;
- Proficient in mobile operating system, namely iOS and Android;
- Competent in assessing students' achievement level in coding
- Good understanding of Google Suite and its applications eg Google Form, Google Site etc.
- Works well with children, strong communication and patience, good interpersonal skills.
Key Responsibilities
- The Instructor shall conduct ICT Training for all P1 to P6 and Infocomm Club students. The school will provide the lesson plans, hardware and equipment. The Instructor shall work closely with the Head of Department (HOD) and Subject Head (SH) ICT to execute the programme effectively and meet the students' ICT learning needs.
- Conduct ICT baseline training for all students;
- Training of skillsets for Inter-disciplinary Project Work (IPW) for all students if required e.g. poster making, mobile app learning;
- Google Apps training for all students;
- Provide expert knowledge in developing resources to enhance Teaching and Learning of the coding tools for the Applied Learning Programme;
- Assess the end products and collate quality exhibits before showcasing them;
- Assist with termly exhibitions of the completed projects done by students during the ALP lessons, e.g. display of end products using coded devices.
- Train and guide students on game creation/coding using open-source software;
- Train students on Artificial Intelligence (AI) concepts and Computational Thinking (CT) concepts;
- Train students on basic audio video equipment;
- Guide students to participate in Infocomm related competitions e.g. Kid Witness News, Youth Change Voice Out 3.0, Schools Digital Media Award;
- Guide students to participate in any game's creation related competitions. Eg. National Primary Games Creation Competition (NPGC3).
