Required Skills and Qualifications:
What We Offer:
Responsibilities:
- Revit 3D Model Family Development: Design and create parametric Revit 3D model families for FM approved ductwork components and control devices, ensuring adherence to industry standards, specifications, and performance requirements.
- 2D Cutting Plan Generation: Develop precise 2D cutting plans derived from Revit 3D models, optimizing material utilization and facilitating efficient fabrication processes.
- Design Automation: Create and implement scripts and sub-programs (e.g., using Dynamo, Revit API, Python) to automate the customization and generation of Revit 3D model families, reducing manual effort and improving design consistency.
- Fabrication Plan Automation: Develop scripts and sub-programs to automate the generation of 2D cutting plans from Revit 3D model families, streamlining the pre-fabrication workflow.
- Material Take-off and Study: Undertake 3D model studies to accurately perform material take-offs for projects, contributing to cost estimation and procurement processes.
- Model Tagging Automation: Create scripts and sub-programs to automate the allocation of tags and metadata to project 3D models, ensuring data consistency and traceability.
- Bill of Materials (BOM) Automation: Develop scripts and sub-programs to automate the extraction of "tagged" project models for the development of comprehensive and accurate project Bills of Materials (BOM).
- Database Integration: Integrate Revit 3D model properties and data with sales and production databases to facilitate seamless information flow and improve operational efficiency.
- Ad-hoc Assignments: Undertake other ad-hoc design and automation assignments as required to support workshop operations and project needs.
