Job Summary:

We are looking for a talented 2D Designer & Décor Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a flair for visual storytelling, a strong understanding of cultural themes, and the ability to translate a couple's vision into beautiful mock-up proposals and décor plans.

Key Responsibilities:

• Meet with clients (primarily wedding couples) to understand their preferences, themes, and requirements.
• Conceptualize and create 2D mock-up designs for wedding and event decorations.
• Incorporate elements of Chinese and Malay cultural aesthetics into design proposals.
• Collaborate with the internal team to ensure designs are feasible and aligned with the overall event plan.
• Revise designs based on client feedback to ensure satisfaction.
• Stay up-to-date with wedding design trends and cultural elements relevant to our clientele.
• Assist with on-site décor planning and setup coordination when needed.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in 2D design or visual concept creation, preferably in the wedding or events industry.
• Proficient in design software (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Canva, SketchUp, or similar).
• Strong portfolio showcasing relevant work, especially in floral or wedding decoration design.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills - able to interact confidently with clients.
• Understanding and appreciation of Chinese and Malay wedding traditions and aesthetics.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
• Creative, detail-oriented, and organized.

Nice to Have:

• Background in event planning or interior/floral design.
• Photography or videography skills for visual presentations.
• Ability to speak multiple languages/dialects (especially Mandarin, Malay, or dialects like Hokkien/Cantonese).
