Mission of the Position
The mission for this role is primarily to establish Aureus Music Academy’s tone of voice and visual direction. Iterating and improving on the company’s branding as well as establishing strong visual identity that immediately identifies the brand and makes it iconic.
The Creative Designer is a creative individual responsible for designing high impact digital visuals, brand and graphic assets, print OOH media and roadshow designs. The creative designer’s responsibility will be to bring the offline and online components of Aureus Music Academy’s brand to life with world class creatives.
The role requires a highly self-motivated individual who can operate in a fast-paced environment, has strong thought leadership, is a problem solver and believes in always chasing opportunities.
What are the Key Accountabilities?
1. Conceptualisation of Offline Assets
o Drive the overall look and feel of offline and online.
o Ensure designs are easy to understand and attractive for maximum impact.
o At the forefront of design trends.
2. Execution of Content
o Collaborate with internal marketing and adjacent divisions to execute on compelling offline and online content
o Adhere to best practices for digital media, advertising, OOH media and roadshow designs.
o Drive print quality and real-world implementation.
3. Make Complex Information Simple to Understand
o Process requests involving detailed and complex information across departments into simple communications.
4. Generate 3 to 5% Revenue Growth Month on Month
o Contribute to marketing campaigns from a creative standpoint with cross functional teams that result in 3 to 5% revenue growth month on month through lesson revenue, enrolments, withdrawals, or seasonal campaigns.
Key Responsibilities
1. Execute On World Class Assets and Creatives:
o Execute with strong creative direction to ensure delivery of global quality content across offline and online marketing collaterals, logos, displays, brochures, posters and OOH media.
o Ability to design world class roadshow booths, visuals and displays a huge plus.
2. Cultivate Strong Visual Branding:
o Ensure consistency in visuals and branding across all internal and external assets.
3. Cross Functional Collaboration:
o Collaborate with other divisions including customer retention, talent management, talent acquisition and project teams to build consistent end to end visuals.
o Work with various marketing stakeholders on the creative aspects of Events, Roadshows and OOH marketing.
4. Engage Target Audiences:
o Build high impact creatives that resonate with customers.
5. Story Telling and Asset Management:
o Drive the creative process together with the marketing team to meet story telling requirements.
6. Up To Date with Trends:
o Always up to date with the latest design trends, techniques and technologies to adapt to ever evolving standards and best practices.
Key Criteria/Requirements
• Education and Professional Background: Diploma or Bachelor's degree in creative, design, visual communication, advertising or a related field with a minimum of 1 to 2 years of progressive experience in offline and online marketing campaigns.
• Strategic and Analytical Skills: Demonstrated ability to think creatively and translate insights into effective creative strategies, with a solid understanding of business operations to drive informed prioritization and product definitions.
• Experience and Track Record: Proven track record of executing successful global standard creative campaigns, from tactical execution to storytelling, in product or service-oriented industries and a proven strong portfolio showcasing innovative ideas that drive business outcomes.
• Proficiency in Design Software: Familiar with traditional and emerging design software for both online and offline content creation.
• Project Management and Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, effectively balancing multiple projects and meeting tight deadlines with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Communication and Industry Experience: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Experience in the education sector is not required; candidates from highly creative or story-driven industries are encouraged to apply.
