The essential responsibilities of the Senior Visual Merchandiser include:
Knowledge & Experience
Personal Attributes
- Communicate merchandising presentation directives to stores.
- Visit retail outlets to perform and maintain visual displays and merchandising, and perform visual merchandising checks.
- Monitor the sell-through of the display items to achieve effective visual merchandising.
- Create and maintain visual displays in the store to accommodate promotional events and general activity.
- Work with Marketing Team on rolling out graphics to stores, detailing allocations and use of specific graphics and display schemes.
- Support with graphics and creative roll outs, ensuring Brand strategy is maintained.
- Coordinate Sale and POS graphic strategies.
- Plan and conduct Visual Merchandising Training to equip retail staff with necessary visual merchandising knowledge and skills, including merchandising standards and procedures, general housekeeping, proper fixture utilization and techniques.
- Responsible for costing and inventory control of props, display tools and POP materials.
- Co-ordinate with suppliers on all renovation and concept corners.
- Liaise with suppliers for purchasing of props, display tools and POP materials.
- Plan and create thematic window or shop floor displays.
- Design and construct props for display and visual merchandising.
- Assist on store designs for renovation of all stores and new stores.
- Supports Internal Audit for compliance and development of risk management in your division.
- Ensures articulation of company's desired image and position and assures consistent communication both internally and externally.
- Maintaining a highly productive, experienced and motivated organizational culture within the Division/Company consistent with the Company's core values utilizing effective
- Management/Leadership tools (performance measurement, skills assessment and training, process training).
- Other ad-hoc assignments
