Job Summary

The Textile Designer is responsible for creating and developing original textile designs, patterns, and colorways that meet market trends, customer requirements, and production capabilities. The role bridges creativity and technical knowledge to ensure designs are both visually appealing and suitable for manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop textile designs, patterns, and color combinations for fabrics and garments
• Research fashion trends, materials, and market preferences
• Prepare design artwork, samples, and technical specifications for production
• Coordinate with production and sampling teams to ensure design feasibility
• Modify designs based on feedback from customers or management

Required Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Textile Design, Fashion Design, or related field
• Experience in textile or fabric design (industry-specific experience preferred)

Required Skills & Competencies

• Strong creative and artistic ability
• Knowledge of textile materials, weaves, prints, and color matching
• Proficiency in design software (e.g., CAD, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop)
• Good communication and coordination skills
• Attention to detail and trend awareness
