About the role

We are looking for a talented Interior Designer to join our creative team at Galaxy Studio Interior Pte. Ltd. in the Woodlands North Region. As an Interior Designer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the visual aesthetics and functionality of residential and commercial spaces. This full-time position will allow you to leverage your design expertise and passion for creating captivating interior environments.

What you'll be doing

• Collaborating with clients to understand their vision and design requirements, and independently manage all client liaison regarding design details.
• Generating innovative design concepts and mood boards that reflect the client's style and preferences, ensuring all designs comply with local building regulations.
• Preparing detailed design plans, floor layouts, and 3D renderings to effectively communicate design ideas.
• Creating and delivering professional presentations for clients, clearly explaining all proposed designs, material usage, and the related project costing/budget.
• Selecting and sourcing suitable furniture, fixtures, finishes, and décor to bring the designs to life.
• Coordinating with related department InCharge to ensure the successful implementation of design plans, including all necessary project upgrading work submissions to relevant authorities.
• Staying up-to-date with the latest design trends, materials, and industry best practices.

✅ What we're looking for

• A bachelor's degree in Interior Design or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience as an Interior Designer, preferably in the commercial sectors.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating your design skills and creative vision.
• Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3DMax, and Coohom (3D).
• Expert understanding of all related project upgrading work submission requirements, including BCA, PUB, and SCDF rules and regulations, and the ability to integrate them into the design proposal.
• Demonstrated ability to independently manage client interactions and project details.
• Excellent presentation skills and the ability to clearly articulate design concepts and cost implications.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and project management abilities.
• Keen eye for detail and a passion for creating functional and aesthetically pleasing spaces.
• Ability to work collaboratively with clients and team members.
