Meet with clients to discuss their preferences and vision for the wake
Conceptualise, plan, and create mockups and drawings of the setup accordingly
Design and create floral arrangements, including casket sprays, sympathy arrangements, and other decorative pieces, using a variety of flowers and materials.
Create a welcoming and comforting space for the wake, incorporating appropriate decor and personalised items
Coordinate with funeral homes and other vendors to ensure that all elements of the wake come together seamlessly
Lead and handle all onsite setup and arrangement of floral displays and decor at the wake, ensuring that they are respectful and appropriate
Leads team of florist to create floral arrangements for special or customised packages
Maintain inventory of floral supplies and other equipment, and procure additional items as needed
Provide exceptional customer service to bereaved families, showing empathy and sensitivity throughout the process
Ensure proper communication of project status, timelines and delivery information to both internal and external stakeholders
Prepration of floral wreaths, table arrangements and etc.
Managing stock inventory
Fulfilling of floral orders
Liaising with suppliers on orders of flowers, or other materials needed for daily operations
Care / preparation / storage of flowers upon receipt
Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of the workspace
Taking order and answering phone call / WhatsApp enquiries
Ensuring daily operations
Any other ad-hoc tasks as required

Requirements

Minimum 2 years experience working as a florist
Able to commit weekends and public holidays
Good Customer Service skill
Able to handle physical work in order to lift heavy water pails etc
Passionate about floral design
Creative and able to take initiative
Works well under pressure
