Responsibilities

• Uncover root causes, user needs, and systemic barriers
• Clearly frame problems and explore possible solutions
• Understand and reimagine end-to-end user experiences across systems, processes, touchpoints, and stakeholders
• Collaborate with engineers, product managers, policymakers and operations
• Ensure solutions are meaningful and implementable at scale
• Refine and implement design-led frameworks for discovery, problem definition, solutioning and experimentation
• Develop design capability in the public sector, embedding design as a strategic strength
• Define and track measures of success to show the impact of design across product development

Requirement

• Minimum 10 years in end-to-end process of designing and shipping digital solutions - from insight to product, to GTM and impact
• Experienced in leading design in complex, multi-stakeholder, product building environments (B2B, enterprise, or platform products)
• Fluent in APIs, system integrations, data-driven interfaces, and permissions models to co-create with engineers
• Leadership in growing design teams and culture
• Hands-on into design execution
• Expert in problem framing, research, prototyping and storytelling
• Comfortable working at the edge of tech and design
• Believer in accessibility and inclusive design (WCAG), ensuring services work for everyone
• Strong communicator and storyteller
• Able to build trust quickly and brings people together
