Position: Tender Quantity Surveyor
Roles and Responsibility
This role requires individual to work independently and with team members within a growing SME.
Job Description & Requirements
Job Responsibilities:
• \tPrepare tender, quotations, and contract documents, including bills of quantities with the architect and/or the client;
• \tPerform quantity take off and attend site visits;
• \tEnsure completeness of next level taking off and verify on the formation of the tender pricing;
• \tAssist in establishing a client's requirements and undertake feasibility studies;
• \tPerform risk, value management and cost control;
• \tPrepare and analyse costing for tenders;
• \tSourcing suppliers and subcontractors;
• \tAllocate work to subcontractors;
• \tMonitor and review latest market accurately and advice on strategic pricing to win tender;
• \tPrepare and recommend monthly progress payment claims and final account submitted by main-con.
• \tAnalyse outcomes and write detailed progress reports;
• \tValue completed work
Requirements:
• \tBachelor's Degree in Building, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or equivalent
• \tMinimum 3 years of relevant experience in RC/Structural & Electrical Works
• \tPreferably with knowledge in industry trends and Design & Build Tender
• \tA high level of integrity, and dependability with a strong sense of urgency to meet deadlines
• \tExperience working for a Main contractor
• \tPossess a mature attitude, highly motivated, confident, and self-driven with a keen sense of learning.
• \tExceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
• \tSkilled in AutoCAD (2D/3D), Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• \tPreferably Singaporeans / PR | Locals - No Age restrictions or Malaysian
