Job Description

• Industry/ Organization Type: Manufacturing/ Building Contractors
• Position Title: Quantity Surveyor
• Working Location: Mandai Estate
• Working Hours: 5 Days (Mon - Fri, 8.00 am - 5.30 pm)
• Salary Package: Basic Salary + Variable Bonus
• Duration: Permanent

Key Responsibilities

• Interpret drawings, understand construction plans and calculate the quantities needed.
• Find subcontractors and suppliers for project requirements.
• Prepare documents and bids for tenders.
• Liaise with sub-contractors and suppliers for quotation and procurement.
• Manage ongoing communication with consultants and subcontractors regarding progress claims, variation works and finalisation of accounts.
• Other tasks assigned by the management.

• Minimum Diploma/ Degree in Building/ QS or equivalent.
• Minimum 1-2 years' relevant working experience in quantity surveying (Preferably for renovation and A&A works).
• Possess knowledge for local form of contracts (i.e. PSSCOC, SIA & etc.) is an added advantage.
• Proficient in MS Office applications.
