• Position : Quantity Surveyor (Building & Construction) - Kaki Bukit
• Location : Kaki Bukit
• Working hours : Monday - Friday 8am to 5pm
• Salary (commensurate with experience) : Up to $4000 + Performance Bonus + 14 Days Leave

Main Responsibilities:

• Prepare, maintain, and manage tender documents, including BOQ, tender clarifications, and unit prices.
• Manage and monitor all financial aspects of assigned projects, ensuring they remain within budget.
• Oversee project administration and documentation, including interim evaluations, pricing and agreements for contract variations, claim submissions, and final accounts preparation.
• Source, liaise, compile, and evaluate quotations from subcontractors based on requirements, specifications, and schedules.
• Review and negotiate with contractors for cost-saving strategies, from rough estimates to final price approvals.
• Prepare detailed schedules for the site team to ensure timely completion of scheduled work.
• Maintain positive relationships with external parties, including clients, architects/consultants, contractors, suppliers, and relevant authorities/personnel.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in the building and construction industries.
• Experience in tender preparation, evaluation, and submission.
• Good knowledge of local standards and requirements.
• Proficient in MS Office and AutoCAD.
• Bilingual in English and Mandarin to converse with Mandarin speaking associates
