- Create detailed 2D and/or 3D CAD drawings, blueprints, and models from sketches, specifications, calculations, and verbal instructions.
- Develop and modify drawings for various phases of a project, including concept, preliminary, and final designs. Prepare layouts, assembly drawings, schematics, and detailed part drawings.
- Ensure all drawings adhere to established drafting standards, codes, and project specifications.
- Experience in tank design / product design shall be an added advantage
Collaboration and Communication:
- Work collaboratively with engineers, architects, project managers, and other team members to understand design intent and resolve design issues.
- Incorporate feedback and revisions efficiently and accurately into drawings.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders regarding drawing progress and technical details.
Accuracy and Quality Control:
- Review and verify drawings for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to design specifications and industry standards.
- Perform self-quality checks on all work to minimize errors and ensure high-quality output. Maintain organized digital files and drawing archives.
Problem-Solving and Technical Support:
- Identify and resolve design conflicts or discrepancies in drawings.
- Provide technical support and guidance related to CAD drawings to project teams.
- Stay updated on the latest AutoCAD features, drafting techniques, and industry trends.
Documentation and Standards:
- Develop and maintain CAD drawing libraries, symbols, and templates.
- Ensure all drawings comply with relevant industry codes, standards (e.g., ASME, ANSI, ISO), and company policies.
- Generate bills of materials (BOMs) and other associated documentation from drawings.
