Quantity Surveyor (Reputable Developer)

Our client is one of Singapore's leading and well-established property developers, recognized for their diverse portfolio spanning residential, commercial, and hospitality sectors. With a proven track record in delivering projects ranging from luxury residences to mass-market developments, they are currently seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join their team.

Job Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with business units to identify sourcing requirements and provide timely procurement support
• Oversee the work of appointed external consultants
• Manage the preparation of pre-tender documents, tenders, and the administration of costs and contracts for development and procurement activities.
• Assess, and recommend new contractors or suppliers following the selection and qualification process.
• Analyze and prepare cost estimates to support decision-making.
• Monitor market trends and dynamics to assess impacts on material and service availability, as well as pricing.
• Assist in reviewing and negotiating contract terms, and maintain all contract records.
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives aimed at increasing operational efficiency and effectiveness.

Requirements

• Degree/diploma in Quantity Surveying/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering/Supply Chain or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years of relevant QS/M&E QS experience with developers/consultancies/A1 main contractors
• Possess building projects experience
• Proficiency in MS Office and SAP highly desirable
