Responsibilities:

• \tPrepare detailed cost estimates, budgets, and financial reports for projects.

• \tPrepare and manage tendering processes, evaluate supplier quotations, and negotiate prices.

• \tOversee contract conditions, variations, and claims to ensure compliance with contract requirements.

• \tTrack project expenditures, analyse cost trends, and provide financial reports to stakeholders.

• \tIdentify and mitigate financial risks associated with construction projects.

• \tWork closely with project managers, engineers, contractors, and suppliers to ensure seamless project execution.

• \tConduct valuations and assess sub-contractor / supplier's claims and certify payments.

• \tPrepare and settle final accounts with clients and subcontractors.

• \tMaintain proper documentation and ensure compliance with relevant laws, standards, and company policies.

• \tDevelop effective vendor relationship management program to maximize value for both parties and maintain a mutually beneficial relationship.

• \tOversee the QS team, mentor junior QS members, and ensure effective project execution.

Requirements:

• \tBachelor's degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.

• \tMinimum 5 years of experience in quantity surveying in a Main Contractor firm, with at least 2 years in a senior role.

• \tFamiliar with tender process, preparation and submission.

• \tStrong knowledge of construction contracts, cost control methods, and procurement strategies.

• \tExcellent negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.

• \tAbility to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
