About the role

We are seeking an experienced Project Coordinator/Project Engineer to join our dynamic team, a construction firm specialising in landed housing development. In this full-time role, you will play a crucial part in overseeing the successful delivery of our construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget and to the highest standards.

What you will be doing

• Coordinating and monitoring project schedules, milestones and deadlines to ensure efficient project execution
• Liaising with clients, subcontractors and stakeholders to address any issues or concerns that arise during the project lifecycle
• Reviewing and analysing project documentation, including plans, specifications and contracts
• Providing technical support and problem-solving to the construction team as needed
• Assisting with the preparation of progress reports, cost estimates and other project-related documentation
• Ensuring adherence to all relevant health, safety and environmental regulations
• Identifying opportunities for process improvements and implementing cost-saving initiatives

What we are looking for

• Degree/Diploma in Building and, Project Management or a related field
• 3-5 years of experience in a similar project coordination or project engineering role within the construction industry
• Strong understanding of construction methods, project management principles, construction project documentation and safety regulations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Proficient in using project management software and tools, MS Project, CAD tools and other relevant applications
• Ability to work under pressure, multitask and meet deadlines
• Familiarity with relevant construction regulations and safety protocols
• Willingness to station at project sites as and when required
