Roles & Responsibilities

• Participate in daily meetings with subcontractors and perform survey setting out of lines and points required for structural and architectural tasks.
• Communicate effectively with project staff and subcontractors to understand requirements and plan tasks to meet project deadlines.
• Ensure the precision of survey setting out lines and points, facilitating smooth handovers to minimize site work errors.
• Follow systematic procedures for setting out work, including verifying formwork levels before and after casting, and checking the verticality and alignment of walls and columns.
• Demonstrate confidence in survey work by conducting multiple checks and closing all tasks daily to avoid potential errors.
• Arrange for regular calibration and maintenance of surveying equipment, keeping accurate records to comply with audits and company standards.
• Coordinate with Licensed Land Surveyors to complete AMSL and As-Built Surveys with endorsements required for regulatory submissions.
• Contribute to site safety by supporting the Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) initiatives led by the Project Manager and Workplace Safety and Health Officer (WSHO).
• Enhance skills and knowledge by attending surveying courses and proposing innovative equipment or methods to improve site operations.
• Take on additional responsibilities within the project team to support cost-saving measures and overall project success.
• Mentor and guide new or junior land surveyors, ensuring a seamless transition into the team while maintaining site progress.
