Responsibilities

The quantity surveyor's duties shall include the followings:

• Attend to client's briefing and establish the scope of project at hand

• Preparation of feasibility studies

• Preparation of cost plans, cost estimates and cash flow projections

• Advice clients on procurement strategy

• Preparation of tender documents

• Evaluation of tenders received and make recommendations for award of Contract

• Preparation of Letter of Acceptance and Contract Documents

• Evaluation of progressive claims

• Financial reporting including evaluation of variation work during the progress of work

• Advice clients on contractual issues

• Preparation of Final Account

Requirements

The quantity surveyor should preferably possess the following attributes:

• Degree in Quantity Surveying

• Preferable with relevant working experience. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply as well.

• Able to work independently

• Able to work well with others

• Experience with various PSSCOC and SIA Forms of Contract
