We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented M&E Quantity Surveyor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and managing M&E tender and contract documents, performing cost analysis, providing procurement strategy advice, and overseeing the entire lifecycle of projects, from feasibility studies to completion. This role also involves ensuring compliance with relevant standards, managing commercial risks, and maintaining a strong relationship with clients and contractors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare M&E tender and contract documents, including the bill of quantities, in collaboration with the architectand/or client.
  • Perform cost analysis for repair and maintenance works.
  • Assist in identifying client requirements and conducting feasibility studies for projects.
  • Oversee risk management, value management, and cost control activities.
  • Provide expert advice on procurement strategies and commercial risks.
  • Prepare and evaluate costing for tenders and proposals.
  • Allocate tasks and responsibilities to subcontractors.
  • Advise on and manage contractual claims and disputes.
  • Analyze project outcomes and provide detailed progress reports to stakeholders.
  • Assess and verify completed work and ensure payment arrangements are made promptly.
  • Stay informed about the various types of building contracts and the latest industry practices.
  • Understand and apply health and safety regulations in all project activities.
  • Provide accurate cost estimations and ensure timely submission of tender proposals.
  • Achieve annual sales revenue targets for awarded projects.
  • Coordinate with clients to ensure technical proposals are fully compliant.
  • Recommend and propose value engineering solutions when applicable.
  • Review project drawings and specifications for accuracy and feasibility.
  • Source suppliers and contractors to meet project needs.
  • Assist in the preparation of quotations and tender documentation.
  • Certify and verify quantities for project accounts and ensure proper documentation.
  • Adhere to ISO and OSHA standards at all times.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by the management.

Requirements:
  • Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in M&E quantity surveying and project management.
  • Strong understanding of building contracts, cost control, and procurement strategies.
  • Proficiency in cost estimation and project budget management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Knowledge of ISO and OSHA standards, along with health and safety regulations.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
  • At least 2 years of related working experience
