Objectives of this role:

• Preparation of subcontractors payment certificate, bills of quantities.

• Sourcing potential subcontractors to get quotations.

• Negotiating with subcontractors to obtain the best prices and terms and preparation of cost comparison.

• Maintaining accurate records and documentation of all project-related costs.

Responsibilities:

• Understanding the client requirements and quantities take off as per marking and RCP drawings.

• Preparing BOQ (bill of quantities) by studying specification sheets from the sales team.

• Identifying gaps between BOQ and drawings, specifications and conditions of the contract and taking it for a logical closure.

• Manage the valuation of subcon work done, handle claims and issue payment response to subcon monthly on time.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in quantity surveying, construction management or a related field.

• Experience working with AutoCAD, Microsoft and validating quantities from the given drawings.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with extraordinary negotiation abilities.

• Proficiency in relevant software and tools for quantity surveying.

Preferred skills and qualifications

• Experience working on various construction projects.

• Experience with building information modelling (BIM) and quantity take-off software.

• Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.

• Strong project management skills and ability to work under pressure.
